BELTON, Texas – An 18-12 months-previous university student has died right after he was stabbed during a struggle at a Texas higher school and another university student was taken into custody, authorities mentioned.
Jose Luis Ramirez Jr. died soon after he was stabbed Tuesday early morning in a campus lavatory at Belton Significant Faculty, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) north of Austin, police reported.
Belton Law enforcement reported Wednesday that Caysen Tyler Allison, an 18-calendar year-old superior faculty senior, was charged with murder in Ramirez’s demise. Allison remained jailed Wednesday evening. Jail data did not list an attorney who could on behalf of Allison.
Authorities explained that Allison ran out of the college soon after the stabbing and was taken into custody about 20 minutes afterwards.
Classes had been canceled Wednesday at the college, which has about 2,500 learners. On Tuesday evening, hundreds of folks collected for a prayer company and balloon release for the Ramirez family, the Temple Every day Telegram reported.
