DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Lowcountry inside designer Mary Welch Fox Stasik is putting her creativeness on show to drive men and women out of their ease and comfort zones.
Introducing a splash of creative imagination to Charleston’s historic residences, the interior designer started with her possess.
“Rearranging my place. You know textures, colors, materials, patterns,” reported Stasik.
Stasik has always had a love for the arts and realized she preferred to switch that enthusiasm into a business.

Her inspiration came from an unlikely location “…and then HGTV was seriously, I viewed that when I was in college and was like ding, ding, ding you can be an interior designer for a residing,” claimed Stasik.

Switching majors from biology to design, Stasik never ever seemed back again. After college, she labored for yet another designer who taught her to break the mould.
“That just confirmed me that I did not need to have to continue to be inside like the four walls of a box,” explained Stasik.
Several years later, the interior designer inevitably got a show of her individual identified as ‘Breaking Bland’ on HGTV.
“I do not even know, really don’t pinch me, I really do not want to wake up,” Stasik laughed.
